Re: Thankful Thursday
I am thankful for my parents for taking my people and all our crap in.
I am thankful for all our friends who have opened their doors for us anytime we need to get away.
I am thankful DH went back to his old job. His new one would have slowly destroyed our marriage and his life.
I am really really thankful for @amcourt09 for checking in on me this week, to listen to me rant and rave about everything for the last few months and for being my cheerleader when I got down. You rock lady!
I am thankful for popcorn at 9am, and for being able to eat dinner again!
Also for you guys, you keep me sane during the ex drama that always happens before we go to NC.
The Rowdy Roberts
He started back last week. That new job was just not working out. He spent 95% of his time playing on his phone because his supervior was "just too busy to train him" We think she was pissed off that they hired someone without experience in patent law and she was going to have to take her work time to train him. Shes one of those workaholics that is sending mails at midnight from home. He knew he had to get out before they realized what was happening and canned him.
So he went back to his old job just like nothing ever happened. They called it a "Leave of Absence" so he picked up right where he left off and even got a raise! Everyone is very happy with this decision.
It's been a rough couple of weeks & there isn't really any other way to put it.
