I get paid biweekly, and I've noticed that the same amount is not being withheld from paycheck to paycheck. This week's paycheck was about $13 less than the last one. I asked someone in the finance department about why there was a difference, and he gave a vague answer about FICA and my deductions. However, my deductions don't change from paycheck to paycheck. They are the same as the last one, but for some reason, I had more taxes withheld this time. A co-worker came by and said the same thing has been happening to her, and she doesn't understand the discrepancy. Anyone know what is going on?
