My best thing is that we had graduation last night. It's great because that means SUMMER, but also because every year, I find it to be a bittersweet day. I love watching all of the families together, everyone being so excited and so proud, and I love how beautiful and alive the campus seems to be this time of year.

I am going to one of those painting things tonight with my cousins. Should be a blast! Can't remember the last time I went out with just some girlfriends! Woo hoo!

I was going to post about how I made it to the credit union before it rained. But then it rained on my walk back, so womp, womp there went that. And it's windy and my umbrella kept blowing inside out.

I'm looking forward to going home, getting in my pj's and taking the nasty plop, plop, fizz, fizz night time cold medicine that DH bought my mistake and being knocked out!

Emmy I love how your outlook on graduation is so nice and positive. I'm usually like "SO LONG SUCKERS!!!" I make a picture slideshow with music for them and one of the songs I use is "Good Riddance" by Green Day. It's my secret message.

Oh, Amber...I totally have that outlook, too!! we've had an internal countdown going around here since spring break!

But the week of actual graduation ceremonies makes me weepy. I'll quickly get over it next week and enjoy the fact that Oakland will empty out!

It may be obvious, but it's FRIDAY! This was a really tough week at work and it is a relief that it is over.

I am getting my hair done tomorrow and hopefully a pedi!

I finally registered Mason for kindergarten and last night we got to visit his new school. He seems really excited about it, so that makes me feel better.

My cousin and her boyfriend are coming to visit next weekend for the Pittsburgh Marathon. I am excited!

Garrett has been doing really well with his speach delay, and it makes me so happy!

ETA: I just realized that only one of those things is actually related to today. I have nothing really good to say about today, so I was trying to stay positive!

I scored a pregnancy test for $1 :P

Dd had to take a picture of the two of us to school today for a mother's day craft. She was so happy to have this picture with her. She hugged it all the way to school. It made me think, "She likes me, she really likes me!"

I have high hopes that my overly tired child will eventually fall asleep so I can go back to binge watching Downton Abbey. I'm full on obsessed with that show.

Tim and I also have a fun date night planned at the Science Center's 21+ night.

One of the principals at my new job took me out to lunch.

My parents are on their way here for a weekend visit.

My "baby" turns 5 in 2 days! :-)

My brain has not yet exploded from using the new software at work. ;-)

I have a meeting scheduled with a customer at 4:00. I'm going to be stuck at work until 6:00 on a Friday. All of my attempts to reschedule have failed. I am not happy. I am looking forward to the Superhero run/walk tomorrow at North Park.
