So it's 3:30am and I'm finally getting to bed.
Good news- we saw baby tonight. HR was 148bpm and measuring great at 7 weeks 4 days.
Bad news - we obviously have a high maintenance baby who decided to make mommy spot and freak out tonight as a first time momma. Again, everything looks fine but it definitely scared me a bit.
Also found out that I'm Rh- so I got my first Rhogam shot tonight.
Yay for seeing baby though.

However, anytime there is any bleeding, they will also give the shot on the off chance it's LO's blood and they are Rh+. OP will need another shot at 28 weeks as well.
The reason for the shot is if a person with Rh- blood detects Rh+ blood, then your body will build antibodies and try to kill off any Rh+ blood it detects which could affect future pregnancies if you were to have an Rh+ baby in the future.
