My surgery was not a success
I went in on Monday for my fibroid surgery. Fibroid could not be removed. It was not in my uterus like they thought. It is in my cervix. If he removed it, he would have done a hysterectomy. I now need to see a specialist. I was opened up for nothing.
I am so upset. Who knows when the specialist will be able to do the surgery. In the meanwhile, I will be recovering from this failed surgery. I am in so much pain and to top it off DH had another back procedure and is in a lot of pain too. Thank goodness my parents are here to help us take care of Liliana.

Was your fibroid bothering you? Did it shrink at all? I'm asking because my doctor had suggested I get an ultrasound to check on my fibroids. They haven't been bothering me so I decided not to get it done. I have really crappy insurance so that is partly why I am opting out, at least for now. I know fibroids could prevent pregnancy or cause miscarriages so I am a little worried about that when it comes time to ttc baby #2.
