What's on today's agenda?

What's everyone up to today?

I'm hoping to get the backyard set up and my raised garden beds built so we can fill them sometime this week and get things planted.
That is, if the weather cooperates.
If it ends up raining then I'm going to begin cleaning up the major mess/crap pile in our attic.

We were really productive and also saw a lot of friends yesterday, so today we have church, target run, food prep for the week and hopefully a nap.

  • I was supposed to plan a unit with a colleague, but her 18-year-old son pulled a typical move and forgot to tell her that he had some big thing planned that he wanted her to go to. I get it, but I'm sad I don't get to see her!

I'm still in my PJs, but I have big plans to go outside and plant some lilies and start digging a hole for the Tree of Fertile Guilt. If only it would warm up...

  • Today we're going to Baltimore to go to our niece's 5th birthday party.  I really don't feel like going.  I love our niece and I'm looking forward to seeing our nephew and Dh's brother and SIL, but it's always so crowded in their house during these parties which forces me to have to talk to people I'd rather not talk to.

Xan welcome to my yesterday :(

Trying to go to the gym... Have to take it easy due to a ton of stupid crap probably related to my sciatic nerve... Taking it easy at the gym is killing me :(

When I get home it's cleaning and groceries and watching Dvr probably and spreading mulch if the weather clears a bit :(

  • We're on a deck staining break.  The (bigger) lower section is done.  Upper after we eat lunch.  Weather people said not to expect to see the sun again until Friday, so we'll probably just hold off on putting the furniture out until then.

Otherwise, just sorting DVDs to get rid of.

  • I've already cleaned, gone to Costco and the grocery store (this is what I get for getting up with DH this morning, who had to work today). I have to do a load or two of laundry. Maybe I'll take Jasper on a walk later...the sun hurts after getting burned yesterday at Beaglefest.

After that I met some girlfriends for brunch and then DH and I went grocery shopping.
