I'm going to finish Unbroken in the next couple of days, and have already picked up these two audiobooks from the library. Which one should I listen to first? I'd love to hear thoughts and opinions on both, too. Thanks!

  • I haven't listened to Silver Linings Playbook yet, although I plan to because I have heard the audio is excellent.  I voted for Mr. Penumbra's because it is one of my favorites on audio.
  • Silver Linings Play book because I preferred that book over Mr. Penumbra.

I don't have any experience with Silver Linings Playbook, but Mr. Penumbra's was really fun on audio.

Have you watched Silver Linings yet? I loved the audiobook.

I haven't.  And part of me was wondering if this might be one of those few where I would rather watch the movie than read the book.  I've heard great things about both the movie and the book, despite the differences between the two.
  • I thought Silver Linings Playbook was extremely difficult to read, since it was in the voice of someone with mental illness.  I had to read and re-read a lot to figure things out.  To me, I think it would probably be easier to listen to on audio.  That being said, it was an incredibly insightful and thought provoking book.  I thought the movie was great, despite the differences.
