does anyone sell clothes to Once Upon a Child?
Any insight into what they look for, as far as seasons go and timing?
I dropped off some clothes there about a month and a half ago, and I was just surprised by what they took/rejected. For example, they kept a pair of dark khaki corduroy pants and a pair of swim trunks, but gave me back some regular summer shorts in the same size as the swim trunks. I guess since it was close to April at that point, I would have expected them to take the shorts over the fall/winter pants.
I have another load that I want to take over, and I'm just wondering if I should really sort through it now and save some of the stuff (the more fall/winter things) for another trip, or if that doesn't really matter?

I could call and ask. I felt pretty silly last time, I just kind of showed up with a garbage bag full of the stuff. Rookie mistake, I had no idea you had to have it all folded neatly in a laundry basket. oops. I mean, my stuff was clean and folded, but you know how things roll around in a bag....fortunately, they still agreed to look at it since it was my first time. I need to brush up on my consigning skills this time around!

Last year when we were going on vacation in Feb. I went there in January and was able to find tons of summer type clothes for dd. They were the only place carrying that type of stuff that time of year. They seem to always have stuff in each category when I go regardless of season (pants, shorts, skirts, dresses, tanks, short sleeve and long sleeve)
