qod 4/28

Were your BM's able to wear their dresses again?  Were you ever able to wear one that you wore again?

Re: qod 4/28

  • Yes I have 1 BM who has worn her dress several times. She loves the dress. I have never been a BM in a wedding yet. I have several coming up. I was the first of my group to get married except for 1 BM I had but she got married a few years before and we weren't that close then.
  • I don't think so. I honestly didn't think they would, even though I let them pick the style (I just chose color & material).

I will be a BM in my 2nd wedding this year and I don't foresee wearing either dress again.

  • I don't know if they ever wore them again.  They picked them out so they should have. :) And they weren't "wedding-like."

I have never been a BM.

  • My girls just wore little black dresses, and yes they wore them again, I just had them wear whatever as long as it was black.

I was only in my sister's wedding and that burgandy taffeta nightmare went to the salvation army

  • Most of my girls wore it to something again, my moh wear again to a ball which made me think about this question.

I have never been able to wear a dress again

  • You could wear the ones fory wedding again, though I highly doubt the girls would. I let then pick, but the style they all liked only came in lime green (for my colours) they were all cool with that, but I can't see any of them wearing it again lol lime green is more my thing than theirs haha I wanted blue, but this particular dress only came in a really ugly blue.

I've been in 4 weddings. There was one dress I could have worn again, was jus black and strapless, but I never did. I don't do dresses. Even when I go to a wedding or something, I'd usually rather wear dress pants.

  • My sister wore hers to homecoming that year, but I didn't expect my BMs to wear them again, so I tried to find them super cheap. $40 on a prom close out!

  • They didn't. I have one hanging in my closet that I swear I'll wear again but it's been about 5 years and I haven't worn it!
