Anyone suffer from anxiety?
I am going thru building a house. Moving and other issues and have noticed my anxiety is more often.
In the past I have noticed issues with it but only once in awhile and usually related to my hormones so i have just dealt with it. I am not one to take meds to fix problems so I am looking for other methods on how to handle this. Should I go to a psychologist? I am looking for some ideas. Any thoughts welcome.
Re: Anyone suffer from anxiety?
I hear you on the building a house and trying to sell a house, constantly cleaning/putting away/being ready for a showing, etc. My stress levels are close to an all-time high! An offer would be so nice and help relieve some anxiety
What you are going thorugh is very common!!
We picked up and moved our family (3 kids under 6) 1200 m away to Texas last Fall and my anxiety went through the roof. I finally admitted one day, to DH, that I always knew I had a mild form of OCD but that the transition made it sky rocket.
I was going to look into therapy, but never found the time (sparing you all details here). I just managed on auto pilot and coped, but I think either talking to someone and/or taking something mild to help you cope is not a bad thing at all.
Good luck!
My three sons!
I don't know if this will be helpful or not since it is not exactly what you are talking about.
When I am super stressed I know I'm not going to sleep well. It is common to be up all night thinking about things. At these times I take a sleep aid to make sure I get enough sleep and then can function better the next day.
