I just got a email from the builder's secretary, and I really need to vent about it and get some things off of my chest.
I feel like she listens to about half of what I send her. I emailed her on Thursday asking her what was coming up. She didn't reply. Okay, fine. But now she emails me about 4 decisions, some of which I've already emailed to her, which have to be made today. I've told her numerous times we weren't doing the pedestal sink in the powder room, and yet she keeps asking me if we are including it. Then she tells me that she is going to be sending me a change order to sign, but we've already signed one for all the stuff that's on it. And on top of it, I keep telling everyone- the kitchen designer and her, the size of the island, and yet, it's still wrong. It's just all making me really, really nervous. Plus, the price of the kitchen came out to way more than I wanted it to be, because my dad insisted that I keep the 8 ft cabinets. I know I am not going to regret it, but the price is just more than I wanted to spend.
I'm just so over it all. Am I done yet?
Re: House- I need to vent
You'll thank yourself for the cabinets later....:)
Sorry to hear they're not very organized. Definitely makes things frustrating and makes you wonder what you're actually going to end up with.
Any chance of going into the office and talking to her in person? Maybe it's an email issue?
I think eventually the kitchen is going to need redoing in our house.
