I should know better by now--sun
We were at the lake this weekend to get our boat in the water for the season. Steve's been dying to drive it, so despite the temperatures in the 50s, we bundled up and took it on it's inaugural ride for about an hour.
Our whole bodies were covered up in sweatshirts and jackets. Because of that, neither of us thought about sunscreen for the face. Bad idea. All four of us look ridiculous---white, white, white bodies, and tomato like faces.
I can't believe how stupid we were.
Anyway, the kids loved the ride, so at least that makes up for the mistake.
Anyone else have a silly moment to share this morning? :-)
