SBC - Horse and his Boy (ns)
For the task of re-reading a book that you haven't read in a long time I chose "The Horse and His Boy" from the Chronicles of Narnia series. This is the third time reading this book for me. I read it about 10 years ago, then I listened to the audio book about 5 years ago or so...as I received a set of the hardcover, illustrated Chronicles of Narnia books for christmas I'm reading those for this time through the series.
I can't really say that my opinion has changed that much over the years, although I just love this series so much each time I read them. I think my favorite part is that the stories can be as deep or as shallow as you want them to be. If you want a light read you can take the story at face value and enjoy it for what it is...however if you want to think more deeply about the story it can also be a great spiritual lesson/reminder.
