I'll admit it...I watched True Tori
Full disclosure...I realize that by me even watching this show, I'm part of "the problem".
I didn't intend to watch Tori Spelling's new "reality" show, but I happened upon it after work one day last week and couldn't stop myself from watching. I feel for her situation, but WHY would you do a tv show at this time? Is this really in the best interest of you and your children? I understand wanting to set the record straight, but then maybe write a book or something later on down the line.
A big part of the episode I watched was her crying about how difficult it is to raise her kids now that Dean's away. I don't believe for a second that she doesn't have help of some form. Whether it's a nanny to help with the kids, or a cook, housekeeper, whatever. Somebody that takes some of the load off of her. She said her kids haven't been to school on time since Dean left. But I'd be willing to bet that they weren't frequently on time before either. They tried to show all the chaos in her house because she's one her own now, but really it just looked like what I'd imagine a day in the house of a regular SAHM of 4 children would be like.
Anyone else watch or follow the drama?

Exactly what I was thinking!
I haven't watched it. Probably won't unless I just happen to catch it on one day. It makes me sad that someone would allow something so personal to be filmed though. I also think its stuff like this that is part of the problem... when other celebs complain about lack of privacy, I think it's partially because of stuff like this that they have no privacy. We, the viewers, are so used to "reality" tv shows starring them, that we feel like we are entitled to their most intimate moments. Yeah yeah, the argument can be made that they signed up for this by just being celebs, but still. It makes me sad because they're still real people with real feelings. It also makes me sad to think that Tori feels like she has to do something like this just to stay relevant or whatever she thinks it is.
In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!
T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
