  • Esther: Too aged.

Elliot: Like the meaning and cute name, but wouldn't use it.

Cameron: I like this for a boys name.

    Wade: NMS

    America: Um, that's a country

Brenton: This is actually the first one on our boy list, and has been for 4 years now.  It would be spelled Breton though.  We know someone with this name who has been a big influence in both of our lives.  So we always wanted it on our short list.  More than likely this and something else will be the 2 names we go into the hospital with.

  • #242 Girl: Esther - Meaning of Esther: "star" Origin of Esther: Persian Esther's Popularity in 2012: #242 I have an old lady association with this name that I would have a hard time shaking.

#242 Boy:Elliot - Meaning of Elliot: "Jehovah is God" Origin of Elliot: Anglicization of Elijah or Elias Elliot's Popularity in 2012: #242 Love this name. I know my dad would say it with an E.T. voice all the time and it would drive me insane.

#553 Girl: Cameron - Meaning of Cameron: "crooked nose" Origin of Cameron: Scottish Cameron's Popularity in 2012: #553 This is better for a boy IMO

#553 Boy:Wade - Meaning of Wade: "at the river crossing" Origin of Wade: English Wade's Popularity in 2012: #553 NMS

#904 Girl: America - Origin of America: Place-name America's Popularity in 2012: #904 NMS at all. It doesn't strike me as a very feminine name plus I'm not all rah rah 'Murica

#904 Boy: Brenton - Meaning of Brenton: "town near the burnt land" Origin of Brenton: English Brenton's Popularity in 2012: #904 If I had ancestors from here I would really be interested in using this, but probably as a middle name. I don't care for the hard T in the middle. I feel like it gives it a choppy flow.

I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love.
  • I love Esther; I think "classic" names are adorable for little girls.  Elliot is okay.

The others are NMS.  I'll name my child Canada instead

  • Where do these names come from? I don't hate Cameron, but it is a common last name in my area and I have coworkers with it. (Although she was a Boyd and that is our ideal boys middle name) wade isn't bad either the rest are mms at all.
