I still like Eliza Mae.

Nicknames - I hate Liz, but I see myself calling her Ellie.
if you like the name Ellie, why don't you just name her that? Ellie Mae.
(says the girl naming her kid Bernard and calling him Bear

Eliza is my great grandmother on my mom's side.

I never said I liked Ellie more... Just a nickname I wouldn't mind. Knowing me, I'll call her something not even close to her name as a nickname. Or z, because I'm lazy.
Congratulations!!!
I would probably end up calling her E...or Zuh, haha.
A is Aiden Jaiden. Even my mom calls him that now.
Everyone in my family and close friends calls me Mam, Mammie or Mammers. My sister couldn't say my name right when she was little and always said Mammie and it just evolved into the other two. Nicknames definitely just come around on their own.
