Baby Bunnies and My Cute DH
It was finally nice enough out yesterday for us to start some yard work, including removing the shrub cover from the Japanese maple. This morning we discovered that there was a rabbit hole with babies in it under the shrub cover. So, we covered them back up with the shrub cover until they're big enough to leave the nest and to protect them from the dog.
This was the conversation DH had with the dog: "Boomer, you have to leave the baby bunnies alone. If you bother them, their mom won't come back. And, bunnies without moms join gangs."
