@Ali2b1g re Sisterhood Everlasting (sp)
OMG I think I actually hated this book.
What really draws me to YA is that no matter how messed up things get for the characters, the books generally end up on a hopeful note and you have the feeling that these kids are going to go on with the things they learned from what they've been through and go on to have awesome lives. The LAST thing I want to do is visit these great characters I loved in the future and find out that they are depressed, in loveless relationships, living with their parents, or are generally total a-holes.
UGH this was one book that FOR SURE didn't need to be written. It ruined the series for me, and I really liked this series.

That is exactly what I thought. I was actually angry while I was reading it. I can't remember a book which made me that angry.
When I read the synopsis I was excited to see how they grew up, but very disappointed with it.

I also felt the same way about this book. Unfortunately it's being made into a movie as well. http://insidemovies.ew.com/2014/04/23/sisterhood-of-the-traveling-pants-another-sequel-sisterhood-everlasting-in-development/
