I am thankful I saw spots of blue sky on my way to work. I think we deserve a sunny warm weekend after 4.5 inches of rain!

I am thankful that we have appointments to visit with the 2 builders we like that are in the same neighborhood on Sunday.

I am also thankful that we bounced back so quick financially from the money pit house and can actually sign a contract with one of those builders this weekend if we wanted to.

I'm also thankful its Thursday! and i'm thankful that I get to see my boy tomorrow and go shopping at the kids pottery barn outlet this weekend and to sooo many other stores!!

I'm thankful for the ability to keep my mouth shut when things are really irritating me. It's been a huge blessing today, because I have wanted to go off no fewer than four times in the past hour.

I'm thankful that work didn't give me a hard time yesterday when I said I'm not coming in tomorrow because L is sick. And I'm thankful that he's feeling better,...he has a double ear infection and bronchiolitis. Being home with him today has me ready to ask work if I can drop to 4 days a week and stay full time somehow.

I am thankful that I pretty much had the best day ever. It all started when I heard a kick-butt song on the radio this morning. I turned to H and said, "This is an omen. It's going to be a fantastic day!" And boy was I right! The weather was wonderful, I was insanely productive at work (like, ludicrously so), H's clients weren't bugging him all day so he was productive as well, I got tons of compliments on my outfit, AND when we got home we saw a "for rent" sign in front of our crazy neighbors' house. It was also my first day as a non-temporary employee and I convinced H that we needed to celebrate by going out to dinner. We sat on the patio at the restaurant and just had a marvelous time drinking adult beverages and eating delicious food.

I sort of want to go to bed now because it really can only go downhill from here.
