Chris Hadfield is a now retired Canadian Astronaut who was commander of the International Space Station from December 2012 to May 2013. Part memoir, part self help book, Hadfield outlines how he got from a 9 year old boy to the first Canadian commander of the ISS. He is probably most famous for his performance a cover of David Bowies 'Space Oddity' filmed on the ISS.

'This is a memoir of a man who decided at the age of 9 to become an astronaut when there were no Canadian astronauts and still was able to accomplish his dream. People like him simultaneously amaze me and make me feel lazy at the same time. It was an excellent read and I gave it 4 stars.
