Dealing with losing a deal... :(
Hi everyone,
We (buyers) had home inspections yesterday and there were some very big issues that it looks like the seller will not be able to afford to fix. We do not have the money to fix them either, and we are using a loan that requires these things to be in order (not a rehab loan), so it looks like we might end up having to walk away from this house.
We are sad and exhausted after this process, and bummed about losing the house and money on inspections and other fees.
Has anyone else been through this? Any words of advice or encouragement?

Take the day to be sad - then move on to something better.
There is more than one good house on the block - hang in there.
(It took us 6 months to find house #1 and 4 years for house #2 - the good ones are worth the wait )
