Are you getting your Mom something from her Grandkids?
I feel like this should be something I do.
My mom won't want: jewelry, flowers, card, money or a blanket.
She'd like: dinner, picture of her grandkids, or a nice weekend away.
I can't decide what to do. What about a picture of my sister and I, and the kids? Stupid?
I really have no solid ideas. I'm even more lost for MiL.
Tell me what you have planned

This is sort of how I feel too. I get my mother a gift from me, as her daughter. But as far as Z goes, Mother's Day is for me, not the grandmas. Yikes, I do feel like that sounds mean!

When LO arrives, I think I'll feel the same way. Not necessarily because it's about me (but really, that's kind of the truth, I'll be her mom), but because I feel like it wouldn't be the greatest way to celebrate the relationship my mom and I have, KWIM? I want to tell her thank you from me for being an awesome mom and honor her effort raising me and my siblings. Grandparents day is awesome for things from grand kids. So are birthdays, Christmas, all that jazz.
