Hey ladies, I have kind of a strange question. There is a playground near us that I wanted to start taking DS to, but when we walked over today to check it out, it's in really bad shape. The swings are coming apart, some of the plastic toys are broken, the coating is missing on some of the pieces, etc. I don't think it's owned by the city (from what I can tell at least from the parks website), I believe it was part of the old Boggs Avenue Elementary school, which is now apartments. So it might be owned by whoever owns the property. How can I find out? And is there something I can do, via the city I guess, to make sure the equipment is safe?
Thanks!
So I emailed our city council rep's office, the community relations person is meeting with the Mount Washington Community Development Corporation next friday to discuss the playground and what to do about it, and they said I could come to their meeting if I'd like to get involved. So hopefully it's a step in the right direction!
Re: Playground - Update
(if that is the right area) or city parks & rec to see who owns it and what can be done.
