Toning tuesday

what have you girls been up to? getting your workouts in?

  • I have basically stopped working out.  Last Monday was my last RIPPED class and I didn't go to zumba on Saturday morning. I did go to yoga Friday night and on Saturday I walked for several hours at the oulet mall and then on Sunday went for a 2.5 hour hike with H and my MIL.

    so i'm staying active!

  • Last Wednesday and this Monday I did bootcamp class.  Other than that I still haven't ran since the half marathon.  Planning to change that tonight though.  It's time to get a few miles logged again and start training for the next one.

  • It was a bad week - I picked up Zoey's most recent daycare cold early last week, and I'm relatively sure it's turned into an ear or sinus infection.  Fun!  So all I've done is a few short walks, and some squats, crunches, and light weightlifting yesterday.

    I'm super impressed that you're still so active - a 2.5 hour hike is amazing at 36+ weeks!!

  • I did yoga and walked 1.5-2 miles every day last week. Still can't find a prenatal yoga DVD for home though!

    Oh, and At my checkup yesterday I only gained 2lbs! Last month was 6 and I was worried, but it was definitely a growth spurt because I didn't really change much.

    At least you're doing something! I hope you feel better soon!

    I tried to get a semi-workout while I was unpacking all week/weekend - lifting boxes (nothing too heavy), multiple trips up and down the stairs, squats while putting things away in low cabinets, etc.  I can't wait to go to yoga today!

    Fifth Anniversary 500 Comments 100 Love Its Name Dropper
    I ran for the first time in forever last night!  2 miles in 18 minutes! I will be so sore by the end of the day today.  I've also been working on doing yoga a few times a week and I also think that has helped my lower back and leg muscles.

  • I need to get on the treadmill today after we put P down. My stomach is feeling a bit gross right now, so I'm hoping that clears so I can feel well enough to do some c25k. I didn't do it last night because I was going through and packing up all of P's clothes from NB to winter 18 months! Holy crap!
