Ten Things Tuesday

Since we haven't done this in a while I figured I'd get it going today.

Add your ten things here. It can be a FFC, a UO, an AW, or whatever you want to let out.

Re: Ten Things Tuesday

• 1. We are moving at the end of the month, I'm so freaking excited to move!

2. I feel like I will be able to finally breath easier in the new apartment!

3. DD has been so fussy lately. I have no idea what is going on.

4. My mom and I are planning on getting a business started together.

5. My mom has been fighting with her husband for a few days and he's been staying with his sister. I feel like she's finally going to forgive him but I don't think I can ever talk to him again. I hate him so much!

6. I should be getting ready instead of nesting.

7. I've been feeling really depressed lately.

8. I can't think of anything else....

• @bridget0117, have you thought about seeing someone for your depression? I went to see someone when I was feeling super anxious and had incredible irritability with everything when P was about 8 months. I was prescribed Lexapro and it has helped immensely (though now DH thinks I'm a bit too nonchalant about things...)

5. i'm trying really hard to wrap stuff up at work and leave my desk as clean as possible at the end of the day.

6. my husband has decided he doesn't want to have sex with me until after this baby comes. boo. he said my body scares him now.

I actually hadn't thought about it. I feel like it's just everything going on right now. It just sucks because everything makes me cry :( I feel so stressed that I don't even know what to do. I'll have to schedule an appointment with my doctor and see what he says.

• @amccul20 DH didn't want to have sex with me either towards the end. He said he was scared to hurt DD. Lol. And good luck with the bikini wax, I'd be petrified.

1. I only work nights two nights this week which is super unusual for me.

2. It's because I have a day shift tomorrow since it would normally be my night class.

3. Except that the prof made our final online, so we don't actually have to show up!

4. And then on Thursday I have a reception with the president of my college so I got a day shift that day too.

5. Vacation day on Friday to have a nice, long, relaxing weekend.

6. We invited 15 people for my graduation dinner Saturday night but now we're up to 20.

7. I'm SO looking forward to it though. It's at my fav restaurant and will be SO GOOD!

8. I told DH a month or two ago that I'm expecting a ruby ring this weekend as a combination graduation gift/first Mother's Day.

9. I want a ruby because our school colors are crimson and white but I don't want a class ring -- something more classic and pretty.

10. I'm not *really* expecting him to get me an expensive ring. :P

2. I get to see my parents, brother, and younger sister this weekend for my brother's graduation. It'll be a fast trip across state but I'm really looking forward to it!

3. I was worried this little girl was breach based on movements but got confirmation from the MW she's still head down at my appt yesterday :)

4. All I want is breakfast foods! Ack!

5. I forgot my granola bar and have to eat almonds from the office for a snack instead... Boring

6. T-minus 10 days until our babymoon!

7. I need to find some good books to read while on vacation but don't know where to start :-/

8. My dog has started being super attached to me, I think he's finally noticed I'm pregnant. It's cute!

9. That's all I've got today!

• 1. I'm now officially excited about having another little girl. Lexi was such a blessing so I know that Eliana will be too.
2. We had Wendy's for dinner last night because I was too lazy to cook.
3. DH picked out the name. I'm pretty happy about it.
4. I'm having pizza for lunch. Someone is buying loads of pizza for a thank you party.

5. I'm so happy I'm feeling back to normal today. Finally the antibiotics are working and my headache is gone.
6. I really want Subway though. Free pizza is free pizza.
7. It's supposed to be 75 on Saturday and Sunday. I would love that warmth right about now.
8. I swear summer cannot come soon enough.
9. I want a watermelon coolata from DD right now.
10. I can't wait for Memorial Day

You've come to the right place! :P What do you like to read? Do you have a Goodreads account? Lurking or posting on NBC is a great place for recs too! There've been a few what to read on vacation posts in recent months IIRC.

• 1. I have several things I need to be doing at work, but I'm not.

2. I am getting increasingly frustrated at my school right now because they haven't released admissions decisions.

3. I hope I am eating lunch late enough to avoid being starving for the rest of the day.

4. I want to eat all the foodz.

5. I kind of want to bail on this party I'm going to Saturday afternoon so that I can: 1) spend more time with P and my family and 2) avoid all the high point, delicious food she will have there.

• @goodwolf I am reading the Husbands Secret right now and am really enjoying it.

have you read any John Green books? love him...

or would you prefer something light like a Nora Roberts book?

• @mrsvedo - Thank you! I always see the book posts on GP but get so overwhelmed at where to start! So many options! I'll have to check out NBC for those vacation posts too :) I guess I like easy page turners... If that makes sense. I tend to lean more towards futuristic or time period pieces also. Historical fiction that isn't too dark is always fun.

I don't have a goodreads account, what's it all about? :)

• @GoodWolf, I listen to lots of audiobooks, my favorites are:
Can you keep a secret, by Sophie Kinsella
The Accidental Bestseller, by Wendy Wax
When in Doubt, Add Butter, by Beth Harbison
Spring Fever, by Mary Kay Andrews
Where we Belong, by Emily Griffin
To Have and To Hold, by Jane Green

Those are just a few! :) they are definitely light reads.

• @goodwolf you need goodreads! you can keep track of the books you've read and are reading on there. it also shows you what your friends are reading, lets you keep lists of books you want to read, find descriptions and reviews of books....its all around amazing.
• Thank you @pb&fluff and @amcuul20!! :)

@goodwolf sorry for the post and run but yes! PPs are right! You need Goodreads in your life! It will track all of your books and you'll be able to see what your friends are reading and how they felt about their books. It will also give you recommendations based on your reading history and preferences.

As far as historical and future based fiction, I'd recommend Michelle Moran (any of hers are good but Madame Tussaud receives the most love on NBC). You'd probably also like Sarah Jio and Jennifer Donnelly. All of those are mostly historical. For future, Ready Player One is awesome and a quick read set in the future with tons of action.

John Green and Nora Roberts are both also awesome contemporary authors!
