Mr. Penumbra question - spoilers

Does something like the Ascension Table database for museums really exist?  More importantly, does a facility like the one where Clay goes to find the Gerritszoon type really exist?  That place sounds amazing and makes me want to work in a museum!

I've really enjoyed this book, thank you guys for the recommendations!

I haven't quite finished yet, so please don't spoil anything past Clay finding the type in Nevada.

Re: Mr. Penumbra question - spoilers

  • I don't know if anything like that actually exists, good question!

I'm glad you're enjoying this book. I loved it, and after listening to Robin Sloan speak, I love it even more. He's so engaging and funny.
