Can we talk about co-irkers for a minute?

My boss asked me to plan an office retreat for a day to get us out of the office and doing something fun. It has to be something we all can do so my co-worker, D, suggested a baseball game. I thought a day game would be fun. So I arranged everything and sent an email out. My one co-irker (thanks for the term KLM!) complains about literally everything just went off on how stupid baseball is and how bored she's going to be. Really? Our bosses are letting us take the day off to drink beer outside while they pick up the tab and you're going to complain about it? I might just be annoyed because I haven't slept in days thanks to stupid night terrors and I have a sinus infection.

Wow, what an ungrateful bitch. Tell her to STFU and deal.
  • sounds like someone needs to be ignored...
  • And what in the world is her suggestion for you guys to do? Beer and baseball is basically the best day ever. I'd tell her she is more than welcome to stay home alone with her non having fun self.

  • I'm still thinking about this. I don't like baseball or any sports really but I would go. I would go because I wouldn't have to be at work, because i'd be drinking with my coworkers, and becasue someone else would be paying for it!!
  • I'll go in her place. I'm not a baseball fan either, but I'd do anything for a day off of work. Maybe she needs to be reminded that its more of a group having fun activity not just watching baseball. ;)

  • I DO like baseball, so can I go?
