WIAR: Wolf Hall NS

This book is draggggginggggg for me. I just can't get into it. And I have no idea what is going on.

Should I keep reading? ;) HAHA!

It won the Man Booker so I know it has to be good. I just hope it picks up soon.

My MIL said it was dry.
ETA: She likes history too and she said the middle was so dull! If you're in the beginning still, I'm not sure what to say! I have (her copy) on my shelf too but I'm tempted just to skip to Bring Up the Bodies because I've heard it's much better.

I've read Bring Up the Bodies, but I haven't read Wolf Hall yet. I thought that Bring Up the Bodies was interesting because of the subject matter and seeing a different perspective on the historical events, but the writing never really pulled me in. I suspect Wolf Hall is similar?

As for the Booker Prize, I read so many that I did enjoy that I thought I would like them all. Then I read The Finkler Question. Now I realize that they're just as hit-and-miss as anything else when it comes to personal tastes.
