  My mom was a stay at home mom until we went to school. And then she went back to work part time. She was always the class room mom and helped with field trips. Looking back I totally appreciate having her there and that she was willing to help so much and be there for us.

  Growing up my older brothers always got more attention because they were big troublemakers, but my Mom & I always spent my birthday together just the two of us. We'd go out to lunch, see the newest Disney movie and then go to the Disney store and pick a toy from that movie. I really loved those days together. 

  
  

  I think my Mom is the most amazing woman and I don't know how she does it. She raised 3 kids while working multiple jobs, and now she's working full time and taking care of my 90 year old grandfather.

  My mom and dad divorced when I was super young so I have always been close with my mom. She was truely my best friend until I met H. I have so many memories with my mom that I don't think I can pick just 1.

  My mom and I are so close. She is a cancer survivor and is so positive. She is my best friend. 

  
  

  When we were growing up, she always had time to take my brother and I to a movie or to the amusement park. She loves being there for us.

  
  

  One of the funnier moments was when my mom, brother and I were driving home from a movie and we stopped at McDonalds. When we came back to the car, it wouldn't start. My mom was so frustrated and I started singing... I'd sure hate to break down here, nothing up ahead or in the rearview mirror, out in the middle of no where, no where, I'm in trouble if these wheels stop rolling. (It is a country song) She started to laugh and then sing with me.

  @mildlymailyn - I just Googled her. She's still around and has as new album coming out soon. She took time off because she lost her house in a flood in 2010 and then was diagnosed with MS.
