Indian food

DH are thinking about trying a new restaurant tonight. We have never had Indian food but have heard great things so we are excited to try it. Any recommendations on what to try? What's your go-to order?

  • All the Indian food!
Chicken Tikka Masala is a good starter, as is saag paneer (if you like spinach), Biryani is also good (think fried rice with the addition of nuts and raisins).

  • I love Indian food. People used to bring it in for potlucks at work. I have no idea what it was but it was good.

Yes, all of the above.  Butter chicken is probably the "safest" for Indian food virgins.

    Pakoras are awesome too.

What did you end up getting?

I love Indian food.  My favorite is a chick pea dish (Chana Masala, I think).  Samosas are always good, and so is the biryani.

Sadly we didn't end up getting it :( we got there and DH changed his mind. He said since we had plans after dinner he didn't want to try something new that might upset his stomach (he can have a sensitive stomach). So he said he does want to try it sometime but on a day where we can come home after just in case his body doesn't agree. I understand but still bummed :(
