To those who have had to shoot up in public

So, as I've said earlier this week, I have to give myself Bravelle tonight while at a wedding. What did you ladies do with the needle after? Did you bring a big bag and keep the sharps container in there or did you just recap it and throw it in the sharps container when you got home?

I ask because I don't think I have a purse big enough for the sharps container, but I could borrow one. Thanks

Re: To those who have had to shoot up in public

  • I put everything in a small makeup bag in my purse. When I was done, I just recapped put it back in the makeup bag and then disposed of the needle when I got home.

  • I recapped my needle and threw it away when we got home.

I should also mention several people asked if H and I had a quickie when we disappeared for me to shoot up:)

Some/most public bathrooms may also have sharps containers located inside of them.  Depending on where the wedding is you may not need to keep it in your purse.

  • I don't think I've ever noticed a sharps container in a public bathroom. Huh. I'll have to pay more attention I guess.

I've seen them in a few malls and airports. But only a few!

  • Thanks ladies! I doubt where we are going will have a sharps container. I've only seen them at malls or big stores, etc. But if they do that would be great! Otherwise, I'll just recap it and put it in my bag.
