T&ps please

Normally I don't ask for them because I know people have it far worse than I do. TMI... Last night I got in the shower and felt a whoosh between my legs. I look down and saw red blood trailing into the drain. Went to the ER, and they basically did lab work and an exam. He said I am bleeding a lot but my numbers are ok. I have to get them checked on Monday for doubling. I am having a threatened MC. We have a 50/50 shot at bringing home a baby.

googling the hcg numbers didn't help as it appears to be low. This sucks.

Thinking of you. I pray no one goes through a miscarriage. It is one of the hardest things one can go through.

I have to call Monday to see if I can get in sooner. I will also go to my primary doctor to get my blood drawn to see if HCG doubles.

I feel stupid for going in, but the rush didn't feel right. I wanted an ultrasound to see the heartbeat, but bc I live in bumfuck nowhere, that didn't happen. So there went $200.00. I am back to brown now, so I am praying that it stops.

Isn't this the type of thing they tell you to go to the hospital for if you're obgyn is out of the office?

IDK. I called urgent care to see if I should go in. He said that if I have pain and I feel bleeding, go in. So I did. I was still bleeding while there, but it stopped after I got home. My OB is at another hospital. I went to where my primary is. I asked where I should go when I called urgent care. They said some there.

We'll know in the future to not go back there and go to the OB 20 miles away. We asked if we should go, and he said just call Monday.

I still feel stupid for going in.

Ah ok. You did go in somewhere then. From the sounds of your earlier post it sounded like you were just going to wait until Monday to do anything.

Never feel stupid for going in. Better to go in and have it be nothing than to not go in and have it be something.

You already know my thoughts but I will say them again. You did the right thing by going in. Never ever hesitate to call your doctor or go to the ER, that is what they are there for! I get how you feel, I always felt silly calling my doctor when I was pregnant but at the end of the day I am glad I did.

Have you been able to get in touch with your OB to move up your appointment?
