GTKY: Cleaning

Do you have certain products you swear by? What are they?

Re: GTKY: Cleaning

  • we use tough stuff a lot in the house.  I find it cuts the soap scum on the shower doors with no problem.  I just spray it on let it sit and wipe down with one of those magic

  • We have a weird shower and the only thing that gets it really clean are those magic erasers and mold & mildew cleaner. Not that there's mold/mildew in our shower! Nothing else seems to get them as clean.

  • I swear by hot vinegar with blue dawn for the shower. It is a miracle worker. I use magic erasers and Clorox wipes for everyday clean ups.

  • Clorox wipes for sure! They are great for a quick clean. Also we have a clorox bleach spray for the tub and our cast iron white sink. It's the only thing that didn't stain it worse. We tried using Comet and it only worked on the areas it was on even if you worked it in with a sponge still did nothing.
  • I made all of my own awhile back. I liked them for awhile, but they really don't do as good of a job with the cleaners with chemicals. I'm thinking about just buying all natural cleaners and bite the bullet.
