Tornado. I consider that really the only one that you can't prepare for whatsoever.

  • I'm terrified of tornadoes for the same reason. Even though you can't really prepare for an earthquake but for some reason that doesn't scare me as much.

  • We only have tornados here, so I picked that. I don't like wildfires, but I feel like with that at least I'd have a little bit of a warning and could get away. Tornados just come down out of no where.

  • I love storms too much to choose tornado.  Hurricane would be mine, but I have a fear of drowning.

We deal with floods and tornado's here often.  So they don't bother me much, that's just a normal Spring for me.

You're right!! I used to live on Long Island and also in Rhode Island, both times I was about 2 miles from the water I would have been a goner if a tsunami hit.

I'm a strange one...none of those scare me. I think they're kind of cool (and, yes, I've been around most of them). Now, a tsunami would scare the crap out of me.

Tornados used to not scare me as much, but then we had that outbreak of tornados a year ago this week and I saw the complete devastation in my ILs neighborhood and my thoughts all changed. That was a wake-up call. Now, I'm gunning for a storm shelter to be put in as soon as humanly possible.

  • Tornadoes are scary shit, but I think I'm more afraid of earthquakes. You really don't get much of any warning for either one, though.
