  Yeah there was updates to the story, the dog was still on the other side of the car, so she was trying to keep him away at the same time as trying to get the neighbors attention. She got bit in the process. Thats why she runs away from the kid at the end.

  And, while I'm all about advocating for people to place the blame properly in situations of dog bites, there's just nowhere to place it but on the neighbors and dog in this case. No one should be letting their dog just roam around, and the dog obviously has some aggression that got set off (possibly by the bike? lord knows the kid wasn't doing anything to the dog to start it). 

  
  

  Those leg wounds they showed at the end? Wow. So awful. That's pretty much what my arm looked like (but only 1 big wound, not 2) when I got attacked as a kid. SCARY SHIT!

  I just read an article from NPR that the dog is being quarantined for 10 days and then it'll be put down. The dog's owners called 911 when it got out after the incident.
