How do you usually celebrate your H's birthday? Do you do anything special?

Not really. Birthdays aren't a huge deal for us really, I don't know why.
I got h this flight simulator he really wanted (with help from his parents, it was expensive) and we went out for supper.

H's birthday is around and sometime on Thanksgiving, plus he works in retail (Black Friday), so when it falls depends on how we celebrate. When his bday is on Thanksgiving we celebrate with dessert and presents with his family. Otherwise, I usually end up making him a nice dinner on his birthday and then take him out to his favorite restaurant on his day off.

I try to make a big deal out of it because his mom always does and they live so far away. This year, we went to dinner (Mexican, of course!) with my family and his friends and then, for his actual birthday, I made him dinner of his choice and bought a red velvet cake and sang to him. It was a very special moment.

Last year, we had a dinner party at our apartment.

I've never celebrated Tim's birthday on his actual birthday because every year he was his two weeks for Army training during his birthday. I usually pack a card and small present into his army bag for him to open on his birthday though.

H's birthday is 12/24, so he is always home with his family. In my previous job, I wasn't allowed to take any time off from Dec to Feb, so I couldn't go with him. One year, Christmas was a weekend, and it was his 30th, so I flew down after work on his bday, and came back on Sunday night. That was his present that year

Usually we celebrate Christmas and his birthday when he comes home.

We usually go to dinner for H's birthday (his choice). And we get a cookie cake. And then of course presents. I love birthdays so I try to make a big deal.

Today is his birthday! I am cooking dinner for him tonight his choice, one of his moms recipes. And then tomorrow we are going to pick up his birthday present (new boots) and go to dinner where ever he wants. We will also go pick up his cookie cake.

It's National Chocolate Chip day so I will bake some tonight in H's honor. They are his favorite.

I usually plan some kind of suprise for him and get his family and friends together for a dinner. But this year I was in labor on his bday

on day two of my 47 hours of labor. He got a son for his birthday lol
