Couponing on diapers

I know someone here has mentioned this before in other threads.

Where and how do you use couponing to save some money on diapers? I'm mostly CD, but the daycare my girls will be using does not CD so I need to buy a few packages.

TIA

I have always kept my eyes open to save money on diapers, but I end up using Target Up & Up and use my Target Redcard for 5% off and the Cartwheel app always has 5+% off, sometimes there are printable coupons or coupons that come out with the receipt as well.  Also, sometimes Target has "free $5 gift card when you buy two" boxes of diapers.
  • That's right. I forgot about Target up&up. I have the Red card and cartwheel. I'll have to keep an eye out on those sales/coupons to help out.

    Thanks!

  • Right now we are using Target brand pull ups at night, she is still not night trained.  I loved pampers swaddlers when DD was younger.  I would subscribe on amazon mom and it would be delivered once a month to our house and cost about $35-$40/month.

  • I get Pampers through Amazon Subscribe & Save. It's cheaper than buying the Target Up&Up diapers.

They won't accommodate CDing even if you provide a wet bag? Bummer!

I've found the opposite to be true, the up&up are way cheaper than using subscribe & save (for both Pampers & Luvs).

I buy them on sale with the gift card offer (normally $26.99, sale for $25, plus $10 or $15 gift card WYB2, plus 5 or 10% cartwheel coupon, plus 5% Redcard savings). Target always runs diaper sales, at least once or twice a month. The most awesome sales (with the $15gc) aren't as often, but still a few times a year.

On size 3, it works out to $.077 to $0.098 per diaper, depending on the promo. Less than ten cents each.

By comparison, pampers baby dry (cheaper than cruisers/swaddlers) using 20% S&S discount plus $1.50 coupon work out to about $.17 each.

One time Cartwheel was 20% off so I bought 3 boxes of like 125 diapers each lol. I haven't bought diapers in like 6 months no joke (my son has always been in size 4-5 so he hasn't grown out).

I've looked at brand names and can't find a way for them to be any cheaper than up&up even with amazon, etc.

For us, we used Amazon until our son outgrew their special deals then we went to the warehouse club for the larger sizes.  We don't do the Target red card etc so we can't get those discounts.
  • Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I'll definitly be keeping an eye out on Target. I'm hoping to save as much as I can this time around!

  • I find diaper coupons on huggies' website for $3.00 all the time. You have to subscribe. Sometimes they also have 1.50 and 2.00 off coupons. Target also does mobile coupons and they have one specifically for baby (text BABY to 827438). They also offer coupons on their website which you can print. The best part is that you can stack a target coupon, manufacturer coupon, cartwheel, and the 5% red card discount. When my sister-in-law had her baby shower I was able to get the smaller bag of diapers for about 0.04 per diaper.
