A very, very, very slow death.

I had my orientation for my new job yesterday! Now I'm just waiting for the scheduler to call me with some days to work for the rest of the month. Yay!

We're worried about flooding today. We keep getting bouts of very heavy rain and we live in a flood zone soooo. Keeping my fingers crossed it's not that bad! The rain was so heavy at 5am it woke me up. I feel back asleep but then we got more heavy rain at like 730 so I just gave up and got up. It's going to be a long day!

Well after a disappointing end to the Pens season, they've fired their GM Ray Shero but are apparently keeping head coach Dan Bylsma. Seems like an odd decision because most people thought it would be the other way around.

It's normally a 30 min drive. WTF!!!

Good luck on the new job JLQ! And you can make if Echo! I thought next weekend was your holiday. I thought it usually lined up with Memorial Day.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. No big plans for mine. Just the usual house work and relaxing!

I haven't gone to our basement to see if there's any water down there. The crick across the street from us is really high though. Thank goodness the rain stopped.

I'm sorry work has been no fun, Degrea!! Will you get to do more hands on engineering soon?

Probably not! My company is in this huge transistion and has been for 5 years. I don't even know what I am suppose to be doing day to day. It's rough but hopefully soon (December) it will get better. Until than they continue to pay me so I am good.
