    Friday:  out before concert
Saturday:  Sweet-Sour Beef Stew over egg noodles, Peas, Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
    Sunday:  Spicy Bean Soup, Cornbread

Bonus question:  I cannot stand mayonnaise.  I substitute a mix of half sour cream/half plain Greek yogurt for anything that needs mayo.

  • I'm impressed that you all consistently plan your meals out this far ahead of time. I try to start planning on Monday, but realistically it often just doesn't happen, particularly in the summer.

Tonight - Left over hamburgers and hotdogs from a cookout we had yesterday.
Tomorrow - Most likely pork tenderloin

I need to go to the grocery store so that's all I've got for right now. I do have chicken in the freezer so we will be having some kind of chicken. I know that much.

And I feel the need to try these bbq chicken potatoes...so...

Tuesday:  Chicken tenders and mashed potatoes

  • I always read menu mondays, but this is my first time posting.

Tonight:  BBQ chicken, tossed salad, will add a starch, but haven't decided what yet
Tues:  Steaks, wild rice and mushroom pilaf, sauteed summer veggies (zucchini/summer squash/red pepper)
Wed:  Pork Chops in a Hawaiian marinade, coconut rice, sugar snap peas or another steamed green veggie
Thurs:  Undecided.  Hubby is in the recording studio til late, so I'll probably make chili or a soup as a main dish, something easy that is suitable for multiple dinner times.
    Fri: Spiedies, salad
    Sat: Homemade pizza
    Sun:  Maybe takeout

I can't really think of an ingredient that I won't use, other than stuff like shortening.  I try to feed us mostly clean, so unhealthy fats, most prepackaged foods, etc. aren't purchased very often.
  • In no particular order:

    Burgers and corn
Grilled marinated chicken thighs with grilled asparagus
    Chicken Tortilla soup
    Chile Colorado Burritos
    One Pot Italian Pasta
Turkey and Brie panini with fig preserves.

Monday: Stuffed salmon (from Costco) Tuesday: Gluten Free Pizza... kids have swim, so it's an easy dinner night. Wednesday: We have advanced movie tickets to see A Million Ways to Die in the West, so DH and I will probably eat out beforehand. Thursday: Kids have swim, so something easy. Friday: Leaving for the long weekend, so eating something on the way. Bonus: I don't think there is anything I really despise... **I'm not sure what's up with my post. It wouldn't let me break it up into lines...?
    Books Read in 2016: 4/50

  • Monday : salmon and goat cheese omelets

Tuesday : tomato spaghetti squash bake

    Wednesday : roast chicken

Thursday : chicken salad from leftover roast chicken

Friday : taco wraps in romaine

Nothing I don't like, but I can't keep gluten in the house, and soy products are generally avoided too.  Umm....I guess heavily processed foods are things I do not keep in the house.
