IHO Memorial Day, here are some Military names

Girls:

Rebel - Origin of Rebel: Word name

Sailor - Origin of Sailor: Occupational name

Marine - Meaning of Marine: "from the sea" Origin of Marine: Latin

 

Boys:

Cannon - Origin of Cannon: Word name

Garrison - Meaning of Garrison: "son of Garret" Origin of Garrison: English

Gunner - Meaning of Gunner: "bold warrior" Origin of Gunner: Scandinavian variation of Gunther

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

  • I like Cannon, but wouldn't use it. The rest are nms. I wouldn't sideeye any of them with the exception of Rebel. And I like Marina better than Marine!

    I actually kind of like Rebel, but I wouldn't use it.  Rest of them seem like they would be better pet names, but that may be partially because I knew a dog named Gunnar growing up.

  • I dated a guy names Gunner, so that's out even if I did like the name.  I like Garrison, but not more than my top boy name (Grayson).  All other names are nms.
