T&P needed!

So if you ladies could please send out thoughts and prayers to my hometown....it got flooded yesterday and it was pretty bad! My stepdad, mom, and little sister were out all day doing water rescues and helping people. Today they are just starting to be able to pump basements and the roadways are finally opening back up. It's the worst flood the town has seen since the 90's.
Thankfully my mom's house was not affected, just some water in the basement, but I know many people whose homes and businesses were just ruined. The store my mom works at had an estimated 5 feet of water in it.
It's going to be a long process of cleaning and rebuilding, so any good thoughts/prayers you can send their way I'd appreciate!!!

Prayers sent! Glad everyone is alright in your family.

Prayers for sure! That's crazy! My home town add too big floods like that in like 5 years of each other. The first they said was a flood that happens every 100 years and then they were like this second one happens every 200 years or something. It was ironic because most people had just finished fixing their houses and then got flooded again

Echo that is crazy about your home town getting two floods so close together!!!!

Thanks for the prayers, ladies! My best friends H drove to his hometown last night, and he has to drive through mine to get there, and he said it looked like a tornado hit it, it was that bad! I feel so helpless stuck here not being able to do anything!

Here's a news video if you ladies are interested:

My mom has to work in the next town about 15 minutes away because her store is just ruined. My sister spent the day yesterday hosing mud off of roads and sidewalks. It was awful. They're trying to get it declared a disaster by the government so they can get money for rebuilding.
