Re: Random Annoyances
I want a new car and H knows it because I keep suggesting it, but he's never given me a "Yes, let's do it" signal of any sort. It's always "whatever you want, honey" It makes me feel like he is not telling me he doesn't want me starting a new car payment. I wish he'd just say "Hey, let's go car shopping!" In reality he's probably just thinking that since I'd be doing the payments out of my paycheck (we keep our accounts separate), it really is up to me. Dammit, just show me approval one of these time I mention it!
Holy hell the customer service people are freaking morons. I spent half my workday trying to take care of this. For some reason they kept telling me we have a commercial meter. I finally said eff it and found a different provider who had no issue recognizing our meter as residential. Soooo annoying.
TTC since June 2012
My annoyance is getting my car fixed costs so much in labor. I'm fine with the cost of the parts but $600 for labor. Uhg.
My issue with DH isn't that he won't let me know when he doesn't want me to do something, but rather he skirts around the issue when he does want me to do something for him. If you want me to go get your accounting book out of the bedroom then tell me. Don't say, "Oh, the dog is on me, and I hate moving him." I'm not good enough at picking up that subtle hint.
My random annoyance is that I ordered a glider and ottoman from Target.com over the weekend, and yesterday afternoon I received a mini-fridge instead. The paper they sent with it said it was the correct glider/ottoman. How do you screw something like that up!?!? I could have understood if it was just the wrong glider, but to send a refrigerator istead??? So, we had to return it to the store, and then turn around and re-order it. And for some reason it was $2 more the second time. Not that $2 is really that big of a deal, but they were so unhelpful on the phone when we called about receiving the wrong item that it was like the cherry on top.
So he texted back "Yes. Good idea!
