Yesterday was my Dad's B-day so we went to his house for his annual BBQ/Bday party. 2 nights before the part I called him and said "I'm bringing you a surprise and I'm making the casserole you love!" He said "oh okay sounds good!" WELL aparently he thought me "bringing a surprise" meant I had baby news for him, so he went to some of his closest neighbors, who I grew up with, and told them that I said I had a surprise for him and he bet it meant I was pregnant.
I gave him his bday card with his present and his surprise, homemade Reeses Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies... which was NOT baby related at all. Later that night he told me what he had assumed and who he told. A mix of emotions passed over me because of this...
Now he has to go and tell his neighbors that he was wrong or they are all going to start congratulating me when there is nothing to congratulate!
I just can't believe he went and told people news that he didn't even get yet!
