We have drainage/flooding issues in our yard and need to address them as it affects our life. When it rains we can't let our dogs out (minature dachunds) because there is too much standing water. When it gets low enough to let them out they come in all wet & muddy and even with drying them off, they still manage to make a mess of the house. So we started calling companies to get quotes for installing a drainage system. They all want to do a inspection of our drain pipes with a camera because it doesn't look like our outside pipes are connected properly. The price for that ranges for that is $225-$700. So I took a long shot & contacted the city and explained to them what is going on and they are going to come out with the City Engineer and do the inspection of my pipes, for FREE!!! So excited about that because that will be such a savings. This project is going to be expensive enough, to have this inspection done by the city is going to be a big help. That's a huge relief to me and my husband.
