Washington DC

Our family is headed there this Friday. Our main objective is to see the Giant Pandas. Evan LOVES pandas and we thought this would be a fun little trip. Anyone have any suggested activities? We are staying very near the metro and are likely headed to the Air & Space museum. Thanks!

I think the spy museum could be fun for your son if he's into that kind of thing. Jackson is 5 and loves all things detective/spy right now.

I LOVE the DC zoo. The pandas are really cute :) It's a fairly big zoo, so that visit and air & space could take up much of two days, so that you may not need many more activities to fill your trip, depending how long you're going.

  • there are cupcakes and froyo shops on every corner, if you're into that kind of thing!! :)  Have fun!

  • I *MIGHT* be more into the spy museum than my four year old, is that bad? After all - I do want to be Sydney Bristow when I grow up.  :))  I distinctly remember a work trip that included fro yo for lunch! Thanks for the suggestions!!
