  • Sooooo many times.  One ticket though.

  • Once in college. I went home the way I walk and didn't know it was a one way street... And I was in my roommates car and couldn't find the registration. Just a warning though.

  • Once. I was going 55 in a 30. I genuinely didn't know! It was a complete straight shot, but it turns out I was going through the center of a very small town. The officer let me off with a warning.

  • Ugh, yes!  And both times I got tickets.  One, I was doing 55 in a 40 and the cop was a complete asshole.  The other, my inspection and registration was expired and I totally neglected it.  It was while I was going through my divorce and just wasn't paying attention to things like that.

nope!  But one I was speeding on the drive home and passed a police car in the oncoming lane.  He turned around and started following me but I had slowed right down as soon as I saw him!  He eventually stopped following me and drove the other way.

A lot in college. Only one ticket though, knock on wood. I did date one of the cops once ;)  When he asked why I got pulled over, I told him I sped up so I could meet him. Too bad he was boring. And I fought one ticket that I didn't deserve. I passed a cop going 62 in a 65 in the left lane, using blinkers etc. and he gave me a ticket for going 75. I appealed 7 times until it was taken off. (I totally admitted to the other ticket, I was definitely speeding. I deserved it.) This was all between the ages of 19-21. I'm stealthier with my speeding now...

ETA- I got pulled over by our school cop 2 years ago at work for rolling through a stop sign at 6:20 am...(I was the 3rd car in the lot...how did I not see him!!!) He just laughed at me and told me not to do it again.

  • I was pulled over once with my grandma in the car. I think that he thought my inspection was overdue because it was at the end of December and in NY the color of the inspection stickers change. He did almost pull his gun on me because I opened the door which you aren't supposed to do. I have to tho since the window didn't roll down.

  • Thankfully, no. I think I would burst into tears if I ever was though!

  • I forgot about a second time, last year! My car registration was expired and so I got pulled over. I got a ticket, but didn't have to pay anything since I got it fixed before court.

  • Twice. Once was when I accidentally ran a red light. The other was because I apparently drifted over the yellows while driving home from H's house when I was in college. Had to sit and explain that I was visiting him after I got out of classes and was now heading home. (He seemed baffled that I was half hour away driving at night with a backpack in my car)
