edited May 2014 in Getting Pregnant

If you have any changes to this list, wish to be removed, added, or have graduated (yay!), please shoot me a PM.

FYI: We don't want to exclude some ladies, but this is a check in for ladies who are unfortunately having trouble trying to conceive (TTTC=3T). If you've been trying for more than a year and/or have been diagnosed with any form of infertility OR are now pursuing adoption or have decided to remain childless following a 3T journey, you are welcome to join us.

Updates: Ok ladies... where are we at this week? Testing, Procedures, Appointments, Adoption updates, Life updates? What’s going on, etc. Let's hear all about it!

QOTW: Money is no object: What kind of house do you want (mansion, colonial, beach house) and where?

@amandaf6383 – I’m assuming she meant doing the IUI back to back just to be sure you catch ovulation. I had that with my first Clomid cycle. It’s basically just doing the IUI one day then again the next day. I assume that’s what your RE meant! J GL!!

    Oh that makes sense!

I had my RE appointment, and like I said in the getting healthy thread, While I had an amazing appointment with my new RE and I love her, I was informed about the office's policy about BMI. I now need to lose another 80 lbs if I have to comply with their rules. My RE stated that she would advocate for me on that however, since I've already done such an amazing job losing 70 already. I did my CD3 bloodwork. It came back with a slightly elevated thyroid (2.7) and they requested a recheck. I did it today, and it for some freakish reason came back at 4.18.....???????? WHAT????? While its still a "normal" level, I've been prescribed synthroid till 6/19 to hopefully shock it back to normal, a very light dose just to regulate it. Just another bump in the road. DH needs to do a SA for the RE, and my sono HSG is set for next Friday. @amandaf6383‌ can you update me for next time to "TTC unofficially since 2011, officially since 2012. DX MFI. Meeting with RE for IVF. Completing testing and getting healthy prior to treatment." Thank you!!!! :) Positive vibes to those who need them, and hugs as well. Fingers crossed for the girls who are in the middle of cycles <3@Aimothy‌ I am sorry you are going through this. :( Edited QOTW: I would move from where we are, to a beach front cape house maybe in Harwich or wherever but oceanfront....i want to be able to hear it in bed :):

Thinking if everyone! Good luck to those starting stimming and hugs to those that need it!

Update: nothing here. Just waiting to see the RE and start the next process.

QOTW: probably colonial mansion. I love that style, and if I had the money to buy it, I would be able to afford a maid. :D

@oceanhutt  I had the same thing with my thyroid. It was always in the "normal" range but higher than they wanted to see it for pregnancy.   I'm now on a 100 mg dose and they were happy for it during a pregnancy.  It's the least "annoying" part of our IF journey.

Do you have to lose another 80 for IUI or IVF? Or just for more testing?

  • Update: Home study application, financial forms, and DH's medical form are in the mail! What's missing? Oh, Poppies forgot to write the check. Have to mail that separately. Oops.

NGP update: today was a super shitty day. I don't know what's going to be searchable in the news, but please send your prayers to the family of one of my students. I'll leave it at that. Send me strength, if you have any to spare...

QOTW: I would have 3+ acres here in NH with room to garden and grow veggies. I'd have a big colonial with top of the line furnishing...
TTC #1 since Feb. '12. dx: "unexplained" IF
After 2 shitty IVF cycles and 1 loss at 6+2 (EDD 11/7/14), DH and I are pursuing DIA.

Love and hugs to all of you.  I have my fingers crossed so hard for all of you and think of you often.

Update: I'm tossing around the idea of going back on the pill.  My periods are a huge bitch when I'm not on the pill and going back on it would make me less crampy and less stabby.  But, while I'm 85% fine with being childless, I feel like going back on the pill would be cementing things.

QOTW: If money were no object, I would have fancy schmancy flats in NYC and London.

I am eager to get started with the adoption process but have got to get my anxiety better managed first. There has been a lot of change lately (job change, house) and it's really disrupted things for me and stirred up a ton of anxiety. It's such a bitch.

I have an appt. with my psych next week and hope to try new med options since the last med I tried made feel horribly sick. I'm really just so frustrated right now. The biggest part for me is that after my losses I have been so paranoid about my body/health. I think every headache or pain is something awful. I've also had terrible allergies this year which just makes everything worse. It sucks.

If I could live anywhere I'd choose a cute little cottage on the beach.

    Married August 2009

    3 years. 5 losses.

  • Hugs @Flamingo86‌... Sorry things are rough right now. I hope your psych is able to find the best med for you soon and you feel better!
