Just to fill you all in, Baby Cinco will be here no later than 6/6/14 at 13:00. She is quite comfy sitting in her bucket and doesn't want to flip. I am now at 3cm and 80% so I'm doubting I'll make it to Friday, but they say they can't schedule it early so fx that she comes when my H has a day off so that he doesn't miss it!! Not nervous about the cs anymore, not nervous about being a parent, very at peace and excited... just anxious that H will be there.
All the labor dust and positive vibes that she comes on his days off or waits until next Friday!!
ETA: I just realized that doesn't make a lot of sense without background. H has a new job with the railroad so he can be as far as 6 hours to get home when I call and say I'm in labor... which he won't make it because I'll have to have a c/s and they probably wont be able to wait that long from what I've heard/read.

If you go into labor - eat something (or at least tell them you did)!
They can hold off for a while :-)

My husband is a truck driver so we never really knew if he would be home by the time I was in labor. It's not like I knew if he would be close by and he just couldn't leave his route if he was working when I went into labor. I feel your pain, so, I am sending many positive vibes that she holds off until DH is able to make it there.
Also, not that you will have a choice, but walk as soon as you can after your c/s! It hurts like a mother but it speeds things along!

Tell L to hang in there for another week. I'm so excited for you, and c-sections really aren't that bad, at least your girly bits will be in tact afterward

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."
