Finally updated car ins - saved some money!
I saw a post on TB about car insurance and remembered that I never called Progressive to let them know we got married (last June) and change my name. After getting the married discount, and the CSR entering discounts for my education and reinstating our paperless discount, next month's bill dropped $200, and starting July we will be saving approx $30/mo. Woot! Too bad we couldn't have been saving monthly over the last almost year but the cumulative $200 adjustment next month comes at a very convenient time.

Oh I know... when i combined our car insurance last year i joked "if i would have known this i would have eloped a long time ago!"
We went from paying 90 for mine and 80 for DH's each month to paying 90 for the BOTH of us. I saved 80 dollars a month just by getting married. that alone is worth getting hitched. lol
