Birthday/Graduation conundrum
Hey ladies,
So, I'm wondering If I'm being unreasonable. My bday is tomorrow, no big deal, however...with H and I having had troubles recently I'm a little sensitive. His cousin graduates tomorrow, and his aunt and uncle are having a get together in a town about 2 hours from here. He told me he feels like he has to go since his parents aren't able to make it, and he'd like to see his other family while he's up there. Mind you, most of the family going up there, is family that lives here, we just don't go visit..for whatever reason. Anyway, I thought, ok, I'll go...and suggested we get a room, not even a fancy one and he's kind of just been shrugging It off. He has told me that he's going regardless of if I go or not. I really do like his family, but I have friends here that want to go to lunch or hang out and actually celebrate my Birthday. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm hurt that H doesn't even seem to care it's my bday. What would you do? Am I out of line? Suggestions? Help, please
